What are the best PDF converters for Mac, free and paid? I’m looking for a friend who is not especially computer savvy, so it needs to be easy to use. She needs to convert .pdf files to files that are editable in pages, then back to .pdf.

I don’t know what you mean by “PDF converter”, but I will say that very nearly all OSX software has the ability to “print to PDF” built in, because that’s native to OSX. I think I’ve seen 1 or maybe 2 applications where that hasn’t been made available, and occasionally it’s a little obscured, but I do it every week, if not every day, including an hour from now when I have to ship a report.

PDF documents can be cumbersome to edit, especially when you need to change the text or sign a form. However, working with PDFs is made beyond-easy and highly productive with the right tool.

How to Convert PDF with minimal effort on your side:

  1. Add the document you want to edit — choose any convenient way to do so.
  2. Type, replace, or delete text anywhere in your PDF.
  3. Improve your text’s clarity by annotating it: add sticky notes, comments, or text blogs; black out or highlight the text.
  4. Add fillable fields (name, date, signature, formulas, etc.) to collect information or signatures from the receiving parties quickly.
  5. Assign each field to a specific recipient and set the filling order as you Convert PDF.
  6. Prevent third parties from claiming credit for your document by adding a watermark.
  7. Password-protect your PDF with sensitive information.
  8. Notarize documents online or submit your reports.
  9. Save the completed document in any format you need.

The solution offers a vast space for experiments. Give it a try now and see for yourself. Convert PDF with ease and take advantage of the whole suite of editing features.

Convert PDF: All You Need to Know

Do any of ya’t have a PDF viewer for MS Word? Sorry if this is a newbie question — I used to use this in the last two years before Adobe started blocking it. But I figured for the sake of this question, I might as well stick with the other one. How much difference are there between PDF's produced with MS Vision vs Pages/Worded in the way they look / display? I have been looking into how that changes with the two programs, both print and presentation, but I don’t think I’ve managed to find much. I read the PDF manual and MS's documentation, but there are only a few examples of Vision printed by MS and this one is from a book, so it is all out of the control of me. Microsoft Vision is a proprietary interface, like Worded for word processing. When you open the document in.
